BCUC head out to Sauti Za Busara & Amani Festival

“The time is now; we are ready to make our mark and deliver a killer performance! Concerts SA, your support is greatly appreciated and it ensures that we continue on our mission of making ‘music for the people, by the people, with the people.’ We will make you proud!”
— Kgomotso

Kgomotso Mokone, vocalist at BCUC is ready to take to the stage at this year’s Sauti Za Busara Festival, Zanzibar; one of the biggest in Sub-Saharan Africa, alongside 400 talented musicians including the likes of Zimbabwe’s Mokoomba and SA’s own Tune Recreation Committee. Starting the year off well with their nod from the Guardian, the band are ready to explore more of the continent. Thanks to ADA Festival, the band will also be extending their tour to Nairobi, where they’ll be gracing the city’s newest club space, MUZE, with thanks to ADA Creative Studios. Thereafter, they’ll be traveling to the Democratic Republic of Congo for 3 days of the Amani Festival. We wish them well!
